       The plant		 Set up 1969, the Firm Metalli Plastificati S.r.l.
started its activity of plastication of metal
furnishing pieces (chairs, tables, etc.) using a
PVC system applied via immersion in fluid bed.
In the following years, it increasingly developed
its orking process by treating metal railings using
the same system, an activity that it continued
with success until 1975.
       
                Stadium stands		 In addition to the aforesaid processing, the
company installed a powder-painting line through
which it started its first experiences of powder
application on galvanized steel products. The
best results were achieved in 1980, when the
painting line was turned into a high-tech
operating system. This has been equipped to
carry out several pre-treatments: alkaline
degreasing, pickling, tricationic phosphating with
zinc salts and phosphate-chromate treatment.
       
                Bench of hot galvanized
               and painted steel		 Surfaces are washed with deionized water and
then automatically or manualy treated with
powders that are expressly prepared for
galvanized products. These conditions ensure a
grip and a lasting duration equal to or even higher
than the Qualicoat type aluminium frames.
Metalli Plastificati S.r.l. uses a special and
exclusive 12-stage cycle for treating surfaces for
further painting. This cycle can activate any kind
of metal surface in a specific way-from normal
steel to electrolytic or hot galvanized steel, from
aluminium and its alloys to cast iron.
        
                  Not treated and
                  treated metal		 The coating, based on thermosetting and
thermoplastic powders, binds the countless
active centres created on the base and ensures
an excellent grip and the possibility to get
successfully throung any kind of tests required
by official regulations or technical specifications.
The painting line is able to paint products of max.
6000x1600x900 mm of 4000x2000x900 mm.
Metalli Plastificati S.r.l. has an equipped
laboratory available for analysing and checking
the pre-treatment, mechanically testing the
production and checkihg the resistance to
"Saline fog" corrosion.

grip duration of our painting are issued.
